Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, on the eve of his departure for South Africa in connection with the celebration there of the Golden Jubilee of the Jewish National Fund, today issued a statement here lauding the resolutions adopted at the convention of the Zionist Organization of America in Atlantic City.
“The discussions and the action which was taken have demonstrated anew the devotion and maturity of American Zionists who are determined to protect with equal vigor the vital interests of Israel and of the Zionist Movement,” Dr. Silver said. He added that “the good spirit in which the minority has accepted the decisions of the large majority, confirms the basic unity and solidarity of the Zionist Organization of America.”
