A memorial to Jewish fighters for Bulgaria’s freedom was unveiled here yesterday by the Central Committee of Bulgarian Jews in the presence of Jewish communal leaders and representatives of the government, the army and political parties. An inscription on the monument recalls the part played by Jews fighting the pro-Nazi government during the war.
