An appeal to the British Government to halt the rearming of Germany and to outlaw in Germany movements and political parties which continue to propagate the ideas of the Nazis, as well as a protest against the release of Nazi war criminals are contained in two resolutions submitted to the sixth annual general meeting of the United Nations Association in Great Britain by the British section of the World Jewish Congress.
Other resolutions submitted by the Congress urged British ratification of the Convention Against Genocide and appealed to the British Government to support the right of individuals and non-governmental organizations to petition on violations of the proposed Covenant of Human Rights.
