A motion that “the Louis D. Brandeis zionist district of Washington, D.C., in conformity with the traditional policy of the Zionist Organization of America, is against interference in the internal political affairs of Israel, and against identification with any political party in Israel, “received a tie vote in the executive committee of the District. Mr. Joseph Andelman, president of the Brandeis District, broke the tie with a vote cast in opposition to the resolution. The motion was presented in connection with the Z.O.A. decision to support the General Zionists in Israel adopted last month at the Atlantic City convention.
