Dutch Government Permits Jews to Keep Stores Open on Sundays; Must Close on Saturdays

The Dutch Government, following representations from Jewish groups in this country, has agreed to amend the “Sunday closing act” to enable Sabbath-observing Jews to keep their shops closed on Saturdays and open them Sunday afternoons.
