Twin brothers who were leading members of the Jewish community of Hungary, yesterday jumped to their deaths from their Budapest apartment several hours after an 84-year-old aunt had committed suicide by taking poison, the British press reported today. The reason for the suicides could not be learned since the Hungarian police had confiscated suicide notes left by the three.
The brothers, Geza and Josef Szucs, 56, had served as attorneys for the Anglo-Hungarian Bank. Geza served as Hungarian director of the Joint Distribution Committee until recently. Josef was a director of the National Bureau of Hungarian Israelites.
