David Ben Gurion, who was yesterday asked by President Weizmann to undertake the formation of a new Cabinet, today met with Mapam leaders Meir Yaari, Jacob Chasan and Itzhak Bar-Yehuda for several hours to explore the possibilities of the left-wing Socialist group entering the government. Mapam circles indicated that among the conditions advanced by the Mapam leaders for participation in a coalition government was one that the right-wing Herut would not be included.
