Schleswig-holstein Cabinet Plans to “modify” Restitution Law; Finds It “too Drastic”

The Foreign Ministry of Schleswig-Holstein, in a letter to the British High Commissioner in Germany, indicated that it considers the present restitution law “too drastic” and expects a modification of the law. The Premier and a number of other members of the state cabinet of Schleswig-Holstein are former members of the Nazi Party. The Schleswig-Holstein province is in the British zone.
