Israeli delegates at the Inter-Parliamentary Union conference now taking place here have voiced objection to the admission of a German delegation to the parley as being contrary to the spirit of the organization.
Although the French delegation supported the Israelis, the majority of the delegations, particularly the Arabs, did not back them and the Germans remained. One of the German delegates, making the only attempt to the Israeli and French statements, asserted that the present German Government should not be held responsible for the crimes of the Nazis.
When Itzhak ben Zvi, one of the Israelis, followed up a speech by Israeli delegate Rabbi Mordecai Nurock on Germany with a further blast against the present German Government, several delegates from other nations objected on the grounds that his speech would bring discord to the parley. Ben Zvi spoke on the accomplishments of the state of Israel, instead.
