An agreement between the Israel Government and the Palestine Potash Company which provides for the establishment of a joint corporation was initialed today. The text of the agreement will be submitted to the Cabinet and to the shareholders of the company for final approval.
An announcement to this effect was made in the Parliament by Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan. The Minister also announced that representatives of the Palestine Electric Company will arrive early next month in Israel to start negotiations regarding the future activities of the company and its relations with the government.
