The DAIA, central representative body of Argentine Jewry, today presented a petition to General Peron asking for measures against anti-Jewish elements in the city of Resistencia, in the province of Chaco.

The petition emphasized the fact that tar bombs have been thrown into the buildings of two Jewish organizations in Resistencia and that the Jewish cemetery there has been desecrated. Also that anti-Jewish inscriptions appeared on the walls of Jewish houses. The petition was signed by Dr. Ricardo Dubrovsky, president, and Benjamin Rinsky, secretary of the DAIA.
