A mixed team of Israeli and Jordanian surveyors has begun a re-survey of a 55-kilometer stretch of the Jordan-Israeli demarcation line in the Migdal Gad area, following a dispute as to the actual course of the border line. They are expected to complete their assignment next week.

Discussions between Israel and Jordan on arrangements for Christian pilgrims to go to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem have begun here. Bethlehem is in Jordan territory.
