The place of religion in the professional education of public school teachers will be considered at a three-day national study conference of teacher’s college leaders, to be held by the Yale Divinity School this week-end.
The meeting will be under the joint sponsorship of the department of religion in higher education of the Yale school, and the New Haven State Teachers College. A highlight of the conference will be a talk on legal problems in religion and public education, to be given by Charles H. Tuttle, member of the New York City Board of Higher Education.
