Chicago Zionists Nominate Bressler for Z.O.A. Presidency

The candidacy of Max Bressler, noted Chicago communal leader, for the presidency of the Zionist Organization of America, was announced here by Abraham Finkelstein, president of the Chicago Region of the Z.O.A.

The announcement said that the executive committee of the Zionist Organization has unanimously endorsed–with one abstention–Mr. Bressler’s candidacy. Mr. Bressler is a former president of the Zionist Organization of Chicago and a vice-president of the Z.O.A. He is a leader of the Combined Jewish Appeal, Israel Bond Drive and Board of Jewish Education. He was a delegate to last year’s World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem.
