Arnold Goldberg, a Jewish student at Freiburg University, has gone on a hunger strike against the showing here of films made by Veit Harlan, producer of anti-Semitic films for the Nazis.

Goldberg’s action is part of a student movement to have Harlan’s films banned from the town’s cinemas. The student council has decided not to participate in any “conciliation with Israel” or “olive tree” campaigns for the relief of Jewish victims of the Nazis until Harlan’s films are removed.
