The new agency which will come into existence in early Fall will consolidate the service programs of the Philadelphia branch of HIAS and the Service to Foreign Born of the Philadelphia Section of the National Council of Jewish Women.

Announcement of the action taken by the board of directors of the Allied Jewish Appeal was made by Ephraim R. Gomberg, executive director.
