Amos Kinan and Shaltiel Benyair, the two Israeli youths who are accused of placing explosives in the home of Israel’s Minister of Communication D.Z. Pinkas and causing damage there, declared a hunger strike today in jail and refused to be brought to trial before the district court.

Both youths claimed that the jail administration is discriminating against them by placing them with convicts and other criminals in one cell. They refused to dress this morning and jail guards had to dress them by force. The trial of the two, scheduled to take place today, was postponed.
