Approximately 23 tons of new and used clothing and other material has been sent to Israel this week through the Materials for Israel project of the Zionist Organization of Canada, it was announced here today.
The latest shipment brings the total amount of material sent to Israel since January 1st, 1952 to more than 85 tons of all kinds of wearing apparel, implements, sewing and washing machines, etc.
