The Confederation of Jewish Federations in Brazil presented a memorandum to Austrian Foreign Minister Dr. Carl Gruber protesting against the pro-Nazi laws passed recently by the Austrian Parliament to the detriment of Jewish victims of Nazism. Dr. Gruber is now visiting Brazil.

The leading Brazilian newspapers carry editorials criticizing the Austrian Government for the pro-Nazi laws. The Brazilian press emphasizes the fact that these laws have been adopted at the expense of Jews whose families have been annihilated by the Nazis and who are entitled to full restoration of property and indemnification by the Austrian authorities.
