The third phase of the Israel Army’s summer maneuvres ended today with Israel Navy units participating in the military actions. The prime purpose of the mock naval warfare was to protect Israel’s shores, ports and to safeguard convoys into and out of Israel. Premier David Ben Gurion and Chief-of-Staff Yigal Yadin participated in the maneuvres as observers.
