Proceeds from the sale of the synagogue which housed the Congregation Ohel Jacob Anshei Kovno for 65 years here will soon be put to work reclaiming the land in Israel through the Jewish National Fund.

Officers of the congregation have turned over $22,000 to the J.N.F. realized from the sale of the building to a church organization. The decision to sell the building was taken when it was found that it would have to be abandoned because most of the members of the congregation had moved out of the neighborhood.
