New Unit in Baltimore Medical Center Dedicated

The new Jewish medical center in Baltimore will “add to the world’s recognition of the Baltimore area as the home of progress in the advancement of the science of medicine and the related arts, ” Gov. Theodore R. McKeldin said yesterday at dedicatory exercises for the new infirmary building of the Levindale Hebrew Home and Infirmary, an autonomous unit of the new medical center.

Harry Greenstein, executive director of the Associated Jewish Charities, reported that $11,200,000 is now available towards the $16,000,000 building program of the center.
