The intervention of the World Jewish Congress and of the Canadian Jewish Congress is being sought in behalf of 300 Jews who have applied here for Canadian immigration visas which have been denied them on grounds that they “did not meet immigration requirements.”

Many of the prospective emigrants entered Italy on transit visas in expectation of continuing their journey to Canada, and are having difficulty with the Italian authorities over prolonging their permits.
