Ben Gurion Makes Coalition Proposal to General Zionists

Premier David Ben Gurion met this week-end with leaders of the General Zionist Party at the home of Dr. Peretz Bernstein, chairman of the General Zionists, it was revealed here today.

The Premier proposed a coalition between the Mapai Party and the General Zionists in the Israel Parliament and in municipal councils throughout the country. A second meeting to continue discussion of the proposal has been fixed, it was learned.
