Establishment of the State of Israel brought about a cultural revival of American Jewry, which is now “starving for Zion’s culture and spirit,” Joseph Opatosho, American Jewish author, told a meeting of Israel writers held in his honor. He urged Israel to send poets and writers to Jewish communities abroad as a cultural export.
