Israel Ambassador Abba Eban yesterday met with John D. Jernegan, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, to discuss various matters connected with the Ambassador’s recent consultations in Israel. These included Israel’s relations with the neighboring Arab states and current U.N. matters relating especially to Israel’s economic measures.
