A police guard was today posted at the home of Dr. George Josephthal, who headed the Israel delegation to The Hague reparations talks with the Germans, following receipt of an anonymous warning by one of Dr. Josephthal’s neighbors.
The anonymous letter suggested that the neighbor leave his home “otherwise your end will come.” Police apparently believe that action is threatened against Dr. Josephthal and that bystanders are being warned off. Dr. Josephthal’s apartment was broken into some two months ago by person who were never apprehended.
