A Maccabi Federation of Brazil was founded here at a meeting of representatives of Jewish groups from the major states of Brazil. Gen. David Shaltiel, Israel Minister to Brazil, attended the parley at which Otto Mueller, Maccabi leader of this city, was elected president of the federation.
