President-Elect Dwight Eisenhower has asked the Jewish National Fund of America to convey his thanks to Mrs. Sarah Goldman of San Francisco who made arrangements on the day after Gen. Eisenhower’s election to have a tree planted in Israel in his honor. The letter to the J. N. F. asked that the president-elect’s appreciation be conveyed to Mrs. Goodman “for her though-fullness.”
