The results of the first poll on mixed marriages ever conducted in Canada were announced here today by the Canadian Institute of Public Opinion. To the question: “Do you think Jewish and non-Jewish people could have a happy married life together or not?” the answer of 48 percent indicated a belief in the possibility of happiness; 35 percent, negative; 6 percent qualified their answer; and 11 percent, no opinion.
