General Yaacov Dori, Israel’s first Chief of Staff and now president of the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology in Haifa, laid a wreath on the grave of Colonel David Marcus, West Point graduate who was killed in 1948 while fighting with Israel’s army during the new state’s War of Liberation.

General Dori was a luncheon guest of Major General Frederick Irving, Superintendent of the United States Military Academy here. He inspected the schools facilities, showing great interest in its training program.
