The Bank of America has granted the Israel Government a $16,000,000 loan, Echud Avriel, director general of the Premier’s Office, announced here today upon his return from the United States.
He reported that Israel bond sales in the United States had jumped last week following the most recent Communist attacks on the Jews. American Jews feel that Israel is the only haven for refugees from Eastern Europe, he said.
