Aaron Baron, Noted Jewish Music Critic, Dies in New York

Aaron Baron, music critic of the Yiddish-language daily The Jewish Day and Morning Journal, died here yesterday at the age of 67.

A native of Lithuania, Mr. Baron came to this country at the age of 18 and enrolled as a music student in Columbia University. Upon his graduation, he entered newspaper work and in 1923 became the music critic of the Jewish Daily News. In 1938 he joined the staff of The Day. An active Zionist, Mr. Baron served with the Jewish Legion in World War I.
