Office of Budapest Jewish Community Reopened; Secretary Released

The office of the Jewish Community in Budapest which had been closed down in January, was reopened several days ago, it is reported today in the press here. The report says that Miksa Domonkos, secretary of the community, who was arrested only two days before Stalin’s death, has been released. Another report says that former Rumanian Foreign Minister Ana Pauker was released from custody in Bucharest a week after Stalin died.
