Six candles honoring the memory of the 6,000,000 Jews slain by the Nazis were kindled here at a meeting organized by the World Jewish Congress in commemoration of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. Bertrand Russell, renowned philosopher, told of his fears when it seemed that Russia was embarking on an anti-Semitic campaign. He added: “Now the Russians appear to have under-gone a change of heart. I hope it is real.”
