Israel Passenger Ship Arrives in U.S. on First Trip from Haifa

The first Israel-owned passenger vessel to make the Haifa-New York run arrived here today and was greeted by city officials, a representative of the Israeli consulate and a crowd of newsmen and photographers. The vessel, the S.S. Jerusalem, carried 400 passengers. The ship will be opened to public inspection May 21.
