Senate Gets Bill for Admission of 240,000 Aliens Above Quota

A bill to admit 240,000 aliens above quota limitations within the next two years was introduced in the Senate last Friday by Senator Arthur V. Watkins, chairman of the Senate Immigration Subcommittee. The bill was introduced to implement the request of President Eisenhower for such legislation.
