Trade Decrease Between Israel and Britain Deplored in London

Concern at the continuous contraction of trade between Israel and Britain was expressed here at the annual meeting of the Anglo-Israel Chamber of Commerce by Leslie Gamage, presiding officer.

Mr. Gamage pointed out that a major reason for the falling off of trade was the British Government’s restrictions on imports from Israel. He also pointed out that the situation is being intensified by Germany’s emergence as a major supplier for Israel under the terms of the reparations agreement.
