Jewish community camping will start its second half century of existence this season with an all time high of more than 44,000 children attending the 229 resident and day camps conducted by the National Jewish Welfare Board affiliated Jewish Community Centers and YM-YWHA across the nation.
These figures were announced today by Sam Kadison, director of the JWB Camping Department. An additional 3,000 youngsters will be accommodated at seven resident camps associated with the regional sections of JWB.
