The need for further cooperation between organs of the UNESCO and non-governmental organizations was stressed today in a memorandum presented to the general conference of the UNESCO here by the Agudas Israel World Organization which is represented by H.A. Goodman and Rabbi E. Munk.

“The difficulties recently encountered in Geneva at the session of the U. N. Commission on Human Rights, mainly through the intervention of the United States, may well imperil the whole Human Rights convention,” the memorandum said. “The task, therefore, devolves on UNESCO to continue its activities designed to eradicate religious prejudice and discrimination, to promote universal respect for human freedom, and to assist in the social integration of minorities.”
