Members of Congress Hear Report on Israel from New York Rabbis

Rabbi Bernard Twersky, of New York, conferred here today with a group of Senators and Congressmen to whom he submitted a report concerning the problems of Israel. The meeting was arranged on the initiative of Rep. Abraham J. Multer, of New York.

Rabbi Twersky, who recently returned from an extended visit to Israel, analyzed the economic and political situation in the Jewish State and the problems with which Israel is faced. He touched upon the relations between the United States and Israel, emphasizing that it was more than routine diplomatic relations between two countries.
