Joseph Kahan, former editor of the New York jewish weekly newspaper “Freie Arbeter Shtimme,” died here yesterday at the age 74. He was one of the founders of the Ferrer School in Stelton, New Jersey, and the experimental Sunrise Colony settlement which existed in Michigan between 33-37.
