The Central Council of Jewish Communities in Hungary has informed the Agudas Israel executive in London that it will cooperate in relief activities for Jews, particularly in the distribution of such medical supplies as are unobtainable locally. The council also informed the Agudah that the Hungarian Bed Cross will render such assistance as may be necessary.

The Agudah announced that it has shipped Hebrew textbooks to Hungary for use in classes in Jewish religion which are given in Budapest and in the provinces. The Agudah said that despite some difficulties Jewish religious life is being main tained in the provinces.
