The annual national conference of the United Jewish Appeal, which will last three days, will open in New York on December 11, it was announced here today by Edward M. M. Warburg, general chairman of the UJA, prior to his departure from Israel where he participated in the extraordinary economic discussions which took place here last week.

Mr. Warburg emphasized that in the light of these discussions, the forthcoming UJA conference will be “one of the most important UJA meetings ever held.” He urged maximum attendance at the parley at which reports will be made on the weeklong economic deliberations here and on the 1954 budgetary needs of the beneficiary agencies of the UJA.
