The United Nations Security Council session on Palestine, which was scheduled to be held today, has been postponed indefinitely to give Maj. Gen. Vagn Bennike, UN truce chief in Palestine, more time to prepare his answers to questions concerning the recent Israel-Arab border incidents.
The Council agreed that Gen. Bennike was to supply his answers in writing to the eleven Council members and other “interested parties” 24 hours in advance of the next Council session.
