Germany to Pay Benefits in Foreign Currency to Nazi Victims Abroad

The West German Government will permit victims of Nazi persecution now living outside Germany to withdraw restitution payments up to 500 marks ($119), it was announced here yesterday.

Payments will be made in the currency of the country in which the victims now live. Until now all restitution payments were made in blocked marks.
