Israel Will Seek Coal, Lumber, Wheat from USSR on Barter Basis

Israel would like to purchase coal, wheat and lumber from the Soviet Union in exchange for textiles, rubber products and artificial teeth, it was learned after a reception in honor of the Russian and Bulgarian Ministries held here last night.

The party was given by the Israel Fuel Corporation to celebrate the arrival of the first cargo of 10,000 tons of Russian oil. It is understood that the expansion of trade between Israel and the USSR was discussed at the reception.
