James H. Burkey, grade school principal of the Schulter, Oklahoma, public schools, his wife and four children, have embraced Judaism, joining the United Israel World Union, a world-wide movement advocating Mosaic Law for one world. Mr. Burkey, 45, is a former Methodist minister.
Mr. Burkey and his family are now making preparations to move from Oklahoma to West Olive to join the growing colony of proselytes there who take great pride in a three-page letter of encouragement sent them by Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion.
