Dutch Government to Seek Release of Israeli Held by Iraq

At the request of the Israel Government, the Dutch Government will intervene in behalf of the release of Mrs. Minnie Barnes, one of the three Israeli residents arrested in Baghdad when a Teheran bound plane from Cyprus made a forced landing at the Iraqi capital.

Mrs. Barnes is of Dutch origin and still holds Dutch citizenship. Israel has sought the intervention of the United Nations, United States, Britain and other countries in behalf of the three.
