Edward E. Gelber, president of the Zionist Organization of Canada, today announced a contribution of 10,000 Israeli pounds to the Hebrew University for the creation of a fund in memory of his late father Moses Gelber. The fund, which will award scholarships and prizes in Judaic studies at the university, will encourage the publication of rabbinic and Talmudic works.
